FARO
Faro é um distrito português da bem conhecida província do Algarve, tão célebre pelas suas águas temperadas e pelos seus centros turísticos.
From the Sagres river to the Guadiana river, the Faro district is a region with plenty of sun, beach, fish and seafood, as well as it is the region furthest to the South of mainland Portuguese.
Faro is in the Algarve region, whose name comes from the Arab word “Al-Gharb”. The Arab culture had a very big contribute to the architecture of the region. As a holiday destiny, the Faro district is frequently underrated, being considered only an entry point to the South of Portugal, through the main airport in the region.
