AVEIRO
Aveiro is a Portuguese district known as Venice of Portugal.
The landscape of this plain is mainly composed of Aveiro’s estuary and the river Vouga’s watershed. Next to the sea and the estuary, Aveiro is crossed by a series of canals where “moliceiro” boats travel. You can’t visit Aveiro without trying the famous “Ovos Moles”, a true delicacy of this district. Aveiro should be experienced with time and, for that reason, the thermal waters of Luso and Buçaco are a mandatory stop for visitors.
