The landscape of this plain is mainly composed of Aveiro's estuary and the river Vouga's watershed. Next to the sea and the estuary, Aveiro is crossed by a series of canals where "moliceiro" boats travel. You can't visit Aveiro without trying the famous "Ovos Moles", a true delicacy of this district. Aveiro should be experienced with time and, for that reason, the thermal waters of Luso and Buçaco are a mandatory stop for visitors.
